How to Activate ABC iview on Your Smart TV

If you are trying to connect ABC iview to your Smart TV or streaming device, you can link your TV to your ABC Account using a web browser. Depending on your TV or device, ABC iview may display a four-digit or eight-letter linking code.

How to Get the ABC iview Activation Code

  1. Turn on your Smart TV or streaming device.

  3. Select Get Started, Easy, Get Started, or the appropriate sign-in option shown on your device.
  4. Your TV should display a unique linking code.
  5. Keep this code visible because you will need it during the browser activation process.

  1. Open a browser on your phone, tablet, or computer.
  2. Go to abc.net.au/link. Depending on your device, ABC may direct you to its current TV-linking page.
  3. Select the option to log in to your ABC Account.
  4. Enter your ABC Account email address and password.
  5. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV.
  6. Select Link Your TV or the equivalent button.
  7. Wait for the confirmation message.

Once the code has been accepted, your ABC Account should be linked to the ABC iview app on your TV.

ABC iview Activation Code Not Working

If the code does not work, check that you entered it exactly as it appears on the TV. ABC linking codes are temporary and can expire. If the code has expired, return to the linking screen on your TV and generate a new code.

Can I Use a QR Code?

On supported devices, ABC iview may also display a QR code. You can scan the QR code with your phone's camera and continue the linking process in your mobile browser.
