How to Connect SBS On Demand to a Smart TV

SBS On Demand can be connected to compatible Smart TVs and streaming devices using the connection options provided inside the SBS On Demand app.

Open SBS On Demand

  1. Turn on your Smart TV.
  2. Open the SBS On Demand app.
  3. Select Sign In or Create an Account.
  4. Look for the Connect Your TV screen.

Connect Using a Browser

  1. Open a browser on your phone or computer.
  2. Go to sbs.com.au/connect.
  3. Sign in to your SBS On Demand account.
  4. Enter the code displayed on your TV.
  5. Follow the instructions to finish connecting your TV.

Connect Using a QR Code

If your TV displays a QR code, scan it using your smartphone camera. Follow the link provided and sign in to your SBS On Demand account. Enter the TV code if requested.

Finish the Setup

Once the connection is successful, return to your TV. The SBS On Demand app should automatically recognize your account.
